FAQs

Q. Why does my puppy need to be under 20 weeks to attend the puppy groups?

A. Training is not the issue, you can improve obedience and teach new commands at any age. Socialisation however can become very difficult after 20 weeks, so if your puppy has not come into much contact with other people, dogs or puppies they can have an adverse reaction within the group.

Q. Is there an alternative solution to improve socialisation for older puppies or adult dogs?

A. Yes, I run outdoor socialisation walks/training sessions for any age of puppy or adult dog

Q. What happens if I pay for a block group of 5 weeks and miss a session?

A. I am happy to meet you 30 minutes early the following week so you keep up with the group.

Q. How many pups will be in the group, and will new pups and people be joining as the group progresses?

A. The course is restricted to 8 puppies, and the same people (where possible attend the sessions)

Q. What qualifications/experience do you have as a trainer?

A. I have 15 years experience working full time as a trainer/behaviourist and have a H.N.D in animal behaviour. I am a qualified Veterinary Nurse which means I have worked with dogs for 12 years before taking up behaviour. I attended many conferences/congresses which had behaviour lectures.
