Puppy Training and Socialisation

My 5 week training courses are held in Dungannon and Maghera in the evenings. They cover basic obedience… ‘sit’, ‘stay’, walking on loose lead, ‘down’, ‘recall’, ‘drop it’, ‘leave it’ and walking off lead.

How to get the behaviour you want… stop jumping, play biting, stealing, barking, scratching doors and boisterous behaviour.

Housetraining, socialisation and how to get your puppy well handled.

My puppy courses are held within Parklands and Glenshane Vets, and are Veterinary Recommended. Children are most welcome to attend and practice their training techniques.

The course is restricted to 8 puppies, all under 20 weeks when starting. The same group stay for the duration of the course and if anyone feels they need extra help I am happy to stay afterwards or meet up early the following week. Phone calls are welcome during or after the course if you have any concerns or unanswered questions. Written handouts for the sessions and a certificate on completion are included.

One to One

If you already have a hectic schedule then perhaps a one – one training session in your home would be more suitable. I will teach you the training techniques most suited to you and your puppy and ensure that you are confident applying them before I leave.

A 2 hour session is equivalent to the puppy group course. A written report is included in the price and will be posted or emailed to you at your request.
